So obviously I've taken a little hiatus from blogging since we left for vacation, not because there wasn't a whole lot to say, but because there was a helluva lot going on!
So we went on vacation - it was fun, too short, and exhausting... I felt like I needed a vacation when we got back. BUT, we had butterbeer in Harry Potter land at Universal, which made everything worth it. Correction: I had two butterbeers. They were that good.
So then we came home, and our first priority was to high-tail it over to the PetsHotel at PetSmart and pick up our little sweeties. These two love vacation. Granted, we sign them up for everything PetsHotel offers so that they don't sit in that sad little box all day. I was bummed enough that we made our reservation too late to book them their normal suite (a three walled room that keeps it nice and quiet from all the other puppies, complete with a tv running the Pet TV or Animal Planet channel all day) so I may have over compensated with an extra double treat day here and there :) Really, their vacation costs more than ours does... but I just can't stand the idea of them sitting in a crate for an entire week. So they get 8 hours of play twice a week, then 30 minute double plays 3 times a week, double treat days (Kong and ice cream before bed) 2 times, then a spa treatment on the day they leave. How spoiled :)
So we pick up our babies (who looked very upset they weren't heading into the play room until they realized Mom and Dad were there) and the wonderful staff sends us home with all that they came with, and their little Pawgress Report. Pawgress Report!!! The sheer clever cuteness of it made me giggle like a fool. So here's how they did:
Food - Gobbled it all down
Fun - Party animal
Potty - Took care of business
Bed - Lights out, sweet dreams
Overall - Carefree, calm and comfy
Obviously they scored the highest marks :) But then we had a super long note at the bottom:
"Dino & Frankie are two of the sweetest Min Pins ever! They loved their play times with their new doggie camp friends. They had such a wonderful stay with us at the PetsHotel and after playing all day would curl up together in their bed under their blanket =) We really hope to have them back. They were such a joy! <3 PetsHotel"
My babies rock <3
